Savor Beauty Hyaluronic Acid Serum: An Honest Review by a Licensed Esthetician

I recently had the pleasure of trying out Savor Beauty's Hyaluronic Acid Serum. After 2 rigorous years of research and invaluable feedback from people like you and me, this beauty game-changer has finally made its entrance into my life.

Let's dive deep into my experience and thoughts.

First Impressions

The serum's texture? Delightfully silky!

The inclusion of aloe vera juice makes this serum exceptionally light, a welcome treat for anyone who despises that sticky after-feel found in many other hyaluronic acid serums.

This is Savor Beauty's first "water-based" treatment created to replenish water-loss, preserve elasticity, plump the skin, and restore your skin barrier to its optimal dewiness.

Did I mention that it smells like creamsicles?* 🍊

Key Observations

Hydration Galore

Just like Angela Jia Kim, Savor Beauty's founder, I noticed a significant change in my skin's hydration. An annoying dry patch I had near my jawline? Nearly vanished after one application for a dewy finish.

Addressing Dehydrated Skin
Living in a city, I battle dehydration daily due to pollution and stress. This serum felt like a tall glass of water for my skin, addressing those pesky environmental effects.

Layering Made Easy

Most of us have a multi-step routine, and I was pleasantly surprised at how seamlessly this serum fit into mine. It neither pilled under my makeup nor clashed with other products.

A Bit of Science

The serum's prime ingredient, Hyaluronic Acid, is a hydration powerhouse. Naturally found in our skin, its levels unfortunately dip with age.

Here's the showstopper: this serum has a 2% concentration, which is generous, considering the industry standard for hyaluronic acid hovers at around 0.5%-1%.

No wonder my skin felt so quenched! 💧

Hyaluronic Acid Usage Tips

After cleansing and toning, I applied it on slightly damp skin (a little tip: Hyaluronic Acid binds well with moisture for optimal results).

Following it up with my regular serums and, during the day, with the Radiance Sun Milk SPF 50+, my skin has never felt better.

Conclusion

Say goodbye to dry patches, flaky skin, and annoying redness. Plus, the serum's infusion of calming ingredients like chamomile, rice bran, and Plantago leaf make it an anti-inflammatory dream. ☁️

So, would I recommend it? Absolutely!

For those looking to inject a dose of hydration and that elusive glow into their routine, this hyaluronic acid serum might just be your new holy grail.

Remember, great skin is always in. ✨

Warmly,

Lucy L., licensed esthetician

P.S. I always appreciate brands like Savor Beauty who keep fragrances below 2%* - it genuinely makes a difference in terms of skin comfort!

Why Your Skin Needs Hyaluronic Acid

Found naturally in our skin, hyaluronic acid is a humectant, which is a substance that retains moisture.

Throughout the day, our skin loses moisture in a process that is known as transepidermal water loss.

By incorporating humectants such as hyaluronic acid into our skincare routine, we can help our skin combat dryness to remain hydrated and dewy, all day long. ✨
