This trip was all about discovering Moroccan Beauty Secrets and sourcing the best ingredients for our next skincare formulations.
While in Morocco, I connected with a women’s cooperative, to bring back new treasures and gather inspiration for masks, serums, and more.
And of course, I found some special goodies for our gift-with-purchase program for you—all inspired by Moroccan beauty secrets.

Day 1: Milan to Marrakech, Morocco
Marrakech greeted us with 98 degrees and a scorching sun!
I’ve been mixing together Savor Beauty's luxurious creams and SPF to combat the brutal sun with some much-needed hydration and protection.
For our first dinner, we went to Compton Darna, which was a feast for the senses—savoring a tagine in a sultry atmosphere with fantastic entertainment. It was the perfect start to our Moroccan adventure.

Day 2: Moroccan Beauty Secrets + Bites
In order to avoid tourist traps and experience Morocco like locals, we booked a food tour to sample the best street eats.
Our guide, Khawla, took us to seven different stands where we tasted everything from fava bean breakfast stews to cheese crepes. My absolute favorite were the sardine kebabs, a must-try!
On the hunt for Moroccan Beauty Secrets, Khawla took us to the bustling Medina Market. It's a maze of vibrant stalls where you can find everything from beauty products and clothing, to spices and handcrafted goods.
I found a woman selling the popular Moroccan lip stains made from crushed poppy and pomegranate petals. To use, you dampen your finger, rub the stain, and apply it to your lips for a natural, long-lasting tint.
We stopped to pick up Rass AlHanoot, a 32-spice blend that’s called the "lazy lady’s cooking" spice, because it magically transforms any dish into something special.
It includes everything from roses, dates, and bay leaves to aromatic spices like cumin, coriander, turmeric, ginger, cardamom, and saffron. I can't wait to use it when I cook dinner for guests back home!
Of course, I couldn’t resist sourcing gifts for our Savor Beauty clients while wandering the market.
One of the things I hear time and again is how much our clients love our thoughtful gifts—and it’s because I take great joy in finding these treasures during our international travels.
Stay tuned to see what Moroccan Beauty Secrets + gifts are being brought to Savor Beauty! 🇲🇦

Day 3: Our last day in Marrakech
On our last day in Marrakech, we went to the Agafay Desert. About 40 minutes away from the city, we explored argan oil cooperatives, learned about Berber history, and rode camels.
We ended our last night in Marrakech at the Nobu rooftop, dining poolside with a beautiful view.
Next stop: Casablanca via train for our week-long séjour.
Ali has a United Nations conference, and I’ll be working remotely, getting back to what I love with my wonderful and creative team.
I can't wait to share the Moroccan beauty secrets I discovered with them... so we can bring them to life for you soon!
