Where It All Began
Every so often, Savor Beauty founder, Angela Jia Kim, calls one of our customers just to say thank you.
Recently, she called a customer who had been part of the Savor Beauty family for eight years, Sara Jane. As they talked, we heard the story of how it all began—and it reminded us that some of our favorite Savor Beauty stories are the ones that unfold over time.
Years ago, Sara Jane and her then-boyfriend, now husband, came to the city to see the Knicks play at Madison Square Garden. While they were visiting, a local friend recommended they stop by Savor Spa for a facial.
They took her advice, and that first visit became the beginning of a skincare ritual that has stayed with her ever since.

For Sara Jane, Savor Beauty began with a trip to New York with her husband, and a facial she didn't know she'd be taking. Years later, it has become part of her life, her family, and her day to day.
Near the end of their conversation, she told Angela that it was an honor to speak with someone who had “really changed us for the positive.”
