My teen daughter came to me with a request: ‘Mama, I saw on TikTok that I should use retinol for my pimples. Can you make a natural version so it's safe for me? I know you keep telling me to stop eating so much sugar, but I love baking and sugar, so I need something that will make my pimples disappear fast."

This was the grounding moment. I immediately knew she needed a gentle retinol alternative, and this need became the foundation and identity of the product.

From her initial request, creativity began to flow. I felt deeply connected to this mission—not just as a mother, but as a creator. The desire for her to feel confident in her skin and to solve this problem sparked intuitive passion.

Working with our holistic chemist, we began handpicking the ingredients that would form the heart of the serum.

We chose Blue Tansy for its calming anti-inflammatory properties and 2% Bakuchiol as a gentle-yet-potent natural retinol alternative. We also chose to add Salicylic Acid to dissolve excess sebum, exfoliating willow bark, and redness-reducing licorice root extract. 

Each ingredient was chosen with care, guided by maternal love and concern, to ensure that the serum is both highly effective, soothing, and safe.

With the foundation for Blue Tansy passion in place, it was time to execute.

I tested it on myself all summer long and was thrilled to find that my usual brown spots, from sun-kissed beach days, were kept at bay.

This love became the driving creative force behind the birth of not one but two products—our first mother/daughter serum duo: one serum for skin clarity, and the other for an ageless complexion.
