Why Truffles Are Called the “White Diamonds” of the Beauty World

My mother always told me that you should take care of your skin “like it’s the most expensive silk in the world.” When I founded Savor Beauty, I knew I needed a luxurious skincare ingredient to win her over. Enter the white truffle extract that’s the basis of our supremely hydrating (and 100% mom-approved) Truffle Face Cream.

We source a rare white truffle exact that’s known as the “White Diamond” for its skin brightening properties—and hefty price tag. White truffles are so expensive because they can only be found in the wild in Italy, and they’re only collected from October to January. Depending on the year, they can cost anywhere from $6,000 to $10,000 per pound!

Their skin benefits are truly priceless, though, which is why we insist on using them. White truffles are loaded with anti-aging peptides, essential fatty acids, B vitamins to help repair the skin and prevent hyperpigmentation and vitamin C to boost radiance and even skin tone.

To address even more targeted skin concerns, we have three different variations of the Truffle Face Cream: Oily has vitamins A and E to help heal acne scars. The Dry formulation is focused on wrapping the skin with intense moisture from nourishing cocoa butter and meadowfoam, and the Normal option has soothing and regenerative ingredients like rosehip and rice bran.

Here’s to skin that shines bright like a diamond,
